Die erste Solo-Performance von Gal Fefferman (Kollektiv gossips) wählt eine Leerstelle als Ausgangspunkt künstlerischer Forschung. Was geschieht, wenn eine Dialogpartnerin fehlt? Wie bleibt das Bedürfnis nach Austausch, Anerkennung und Unterstützung sichtbar, wenn eine Person allein auf der Bühne steht?
Im Zentrum der Arbeit steht die Sehnsucht nach weiblicher Kompliz*innenschaft – nach Mentor*innen, Mitstreiter*innen und Vorbildern. Die Bühne wird zum Resonanzraum für Einsamkeit, für das Begehren nach Verbindung und für die Frage, wie Stärkung jenseits ko-präsenter Gegenüber entstehen kann.

In der choreografischen, performativen und textlichen Verschränkung wird das Dialogische neu verhandelt: als innere Bewegung, als Erinnerung, als Echo. 

In Ko-Regie und -Choreografie mit Orla Mc Carthy entsteht eine Choreografie der Suche: nach Resonanz, nach Dialog, nach einem gemeinsamen Raum – auch wenn dieser nur für einen Moment existiert.

Gal Fefferman's (Kollektiv gossips) first solo performance chooses a void as the starting point for artistic research. What happens when there is no dialogue partner? How does the need for exchange, recognition, and support remain visible when a person stands alone on stage? 

At the heart of the work is the longing for female complicity—for mentors, comrades, and role models. The stage becomes a space of resonance, amplifying loneliness and the longing for connection, while opening the question of how empowerment can emerge without a physically present counterpart.

In the choreographic, performative, and textual intertwining, dialogue is renegotiated: as inner movement, as memory, as echo. Co-directed and choreographed with Orla Mc Carthy, a choreography of searching emerges: for resonance, for dialogue, for a shared space—even if existing only for a moment.

Die freiberufliche Tanzkünstlerin Orla McCarthy absolvierte ihre Ausbildung am Shawbrook in Irland, bevor sie einen Bachelorabschluss (BA) in Zeitgenössischem Tanz an der Frankfurter Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst erwarb. Sie arbeitet in Irland, Deutschland und den Niederlanden und hat mit Choreograf*innen wie Meg Stuart, Arno Schuitemaker, Connor Schumacher und Luke Murphy performt. Zudem war sie vier Jahre lang Mitglied des Tanztheater Heidelberg unter der Leitung von Iván Pérez. Ihre multidisziplinäre Arbeit erforscht die heilende Kraft des Tanzes durch immersive Erfahrungen, in denen Performer*innen und Publikum den physischen und spirituellen Nutzen poetischer Bewegung erleben können. Diese Arbeit ist in ihrer Praxis von Qigong und Yin Yoga verwurzelt. Ihre Arbeiten wurden unter anderem bei CINEDANS in Amsterdam, im Dock11 in Berlin sowie im Theater Zwinger Heidelberg gezeigt und durch Culture Ireland sowie den Arts Council of Ireland gefördert.

Freelance dance artist Orla Mc Carthy trained at Shawbrook, Ireland, before earning a BA in Contemporary Dance from Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. Working across Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands, she has performed with choreographers including Meg Stuart, Arno Schuitemaker, Connor Schumacher, and Luke Murphy, and spent four years with Dance Theatre Heidelberg under Iván Pérez. Her multidisciplinary work explores the healing power of dance through immersive experiences where performers and audiences encounter the physical and spiritual benefits of poetic movement, rooted in her practice of Qigong and Yin Yoga. Her work has been shown at CINEDANS, Amsterdam, Dock11 Berlin, and Theater Zwinger Heidelberg, and supported by Culture Ireland and the Arts Council of Ireland.

Nora Schneider arbeitet als Kostümbildnerin, Festival- und Theatermacherin und Produktionsleiterin. Theoretisch wie praktisch beschäftigt sie sich mit Handarbeit, Disability Studies, Monstrosität, textilen Oberflächen und Zerstörung. Unter anderem war sie Co-Leiterin des IMPLANTIEREN 2022/23 Festivals und war an der Gründung des Hungry Eyes Festivals beteiligt, das sie drei Ausgaben lang begleitete. Zusammen mit Florence Ruckstuhl wurde sie mit ihrer Eigenproduktion How not to be spectacular zu den Treibstoff Theatertagen Basel 2021 eingeladen. Als Kostümbildnerin arbeitete sie u.a. mit ASJA, dem zaungäste kollektiv und Brands/Sistig/Steinmair.

Nora Schneider works as a costume designer, festival and theatre producer, and production manager. Both theoretically and practically, she is interested in handicrafts, disability studies, monstrosity, textile surfaces, and destruction. Among other things, she was co-director of the IMPLANTIEREN 2022/23 festival and was involved in founding the Hungry Eyes Festival, which she accompanied for three editions. Together with Florence Ruckstuhl, she was invited to the Treibstoff Theatertagen Basel 2021 with their own production How not to be spectacular. Miriam Berger ist Musikerin und Schauspielerin. Ihren Master of Music hat sie am Institut für Pop-Musik der Folkwang Universität der Künste abgeschlossen. Mit ihrem Solo-Projekt BERGER veröffentlichte sie bereits die ersten beiden Teile ihres Album-Debuts “Creatures”. Die vollständige Trilogie erscheint im Frühjahr 2026. Miriam Berger komponiert und produziert Musik für Theater, Tanz und Performance. Live arbeitet sie mit Gesang, Keys, Elektronik und ihrer Zigarrenbox-Gitarre. Bereits seit 2006 steht Miriam auch als Schauspielerin auf der Bühne. Stationen ihrer Arbeit waren: Beethovenfest Bonn, Podium Festival Esslingen, Theater an der Ruhr, Junges Schauspiel Düsseldorf, Theater Gütersloh, Schauspiel Köln, Theater Magdeburg, Theater Erlangen, Consoltheater Gelsenkirchen, Prinzregenttheater Bochum, Port In Air Köln. Miriam war Teil des lyrisch-musikalischen Performance-Duos Sprechduette. Seit 2022 arbeitet sie mit dem Gossips Kollektiv Frankfurt.

Susanne Zaun studierte am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen und an der Universitetet i Bergen in Norwegen. Sie lebt in Frankfurt am Main und entwickelt deutschlandweit Theater- und Kunstprojekte mit ihrem Kollektiv zaungäste und als Einzelkünstlerin. In den letzten Jahren entstanden u.a. Arbeiten für das Theater an der Parkaue Berlin, das Schloßtheater Moers, das Theater Junge Generation in Dresden, das Nationaltheater Mannheim und das Schauspiel Frankfurt. Ein Schwerpunkt von Susanne Zauns Arbeit liegt auf der partizipativen Textentwicklung. Interviews und Fragebögen, Spielformate und Improvisationen sind Methoden ihrer vielstimmigen Stückentwicklungen. Dabei interessiert sie sich für Praktiken des autofiktionalen Schreibens, der Collage und Verfremdung und Einflüsse der Populärkultur.
